Website Use and Acceptance

These Terms govern use of The Space Place website and related booking pages. By accessing this site, you agree to these Terms and to use the site only for lawful travel planning and reservation activity.

Booking and Payments

Direct reservations on this site use a secure checkout flow. Before we collect payment details, the responsible booking adult may be required to review and electronically sign the current rental agreement, complete Stripe-hosted government-issued ID and live-photo verification, and pass reasonable fraud-prevention checks. We may refuse, pause, or retry checkout if these steps are incomplete, inconsistent, or fail provider review.

Final rates, taxes, fees, cancellation terms, house rules, and other disclosures shown at checkout control each reservation. For direct bookings, the signed rental agreement presented in-session is part of the reservation contract. Availability and quote results shown before checkout are informational and may change until a reservation is created and confirmed.

Rental Agreement and Electronic Signature

By typing a legal name and submitting the agreement during checkout, the responsible guest adopts that name as an electronic signature and agrees that the displayed agreement version, hash, timestamps, and related booking logs may be used to prove assent. If a booking is materially changed before payment or confirmation, we may require the agreement to be reviewed and signed again.

The signed rental agreement may include stay-specific rules and disclosures covering guest conduct, checkout duties, local-law compliance, property-damage responsibility, injury-waiver language, indemnity language, and breach-enforcement cost recovery to the extent permitted by law. If these Terms conflict with a stay-specific direct-booking agreement shown during checkout, the stay-specific agreement controls that reservation.

Security Controls and Abuse Prevention

To protect guests and booking systems, we may apply rate limits, request verification checks (including anti-bot verification providers), require security checks during checkout flows, and use Stripe-hosted identity verification for a government-issued ID and live-photo review before payment. Requests that fail security validation, appear abusive, or do not satisfy identity-review requirements may be blocked, denied, or retried later.

Price Alerts and Email Messages

If you opt in to price alerts, you authorize us to send email notifications about selected stay dates and prices, including links to manage or unsubscribe alerts. You are responsible for providing a valid email address. Delivery timing and availability of alert emails are not guaranteed, quoted prices may change before booking is completed, and price alerts are separate from booking text-message updates.

Messaging and Notifications

We may send reservation confirmations, access codes, payment notices, check-in and checkout reminders, and support messages by email or SMS using the contact details associated with your reservation. If you opt in to booking updates by text message, you authorize those SMS messages to the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies by reservation activity, and you can reply STOP to opt out, START to resume, or HELP for assistance where supported. Some reservation-critical messages may still be sent when needed to complete or support a booking.

Price alerts remain optional email notifications for selected stay dates and prices, and you can manage or unsubscribe from those alerts through the links provided.

Reservation Partners and Hosted Services

This site relies on third-party providers for reservation management, direct-booking payments, identity verification, and messaging. When you continue through a hosted step, that provider's terms and requirements also apply to that part of the reservation.

  • Reservation-management providers may receive stay details and guest contact information needed to create or support a reservation.
  • Stripe or another payment provider may collect payment and identity information needed to complete a hosted verification or payment step.
  • Direct booking may remain unavailable until required verification or provider checks are complete.

Eligibility and Guest Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old to submit a reservation request.
  • Provide accurate identity, contact, and booking information.
  • Complete required direct-booking agreement and verification steps truthfully.
  • Follow house rules, occupancy limits, and checkout instructions for confirmed stays.
  • Comply with local law and supervise minors, invitees, and other occupants.
  • Remain responsible for damage, excessive cleaning, misuse, and rule violations.
  • Do not use the site in a way that disrupts service, security, or other users.

Prohibited Use

  • No scraping, reverse engineering, or unauthorized automated access.
  • No attempts to bypass security controls or interfere with checkout systems.
  • No fraudulent booking activity or impersonation.

Content and Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, and media are owned by or licensed to The Space Place and may not be reused without permission.

Third-Party Services

This site links or redirects to third-party tools and websites, including booking providers, hosted identity-verification pages, payment platforms, and communications services. When you continue through direct checkout, hosted identity verification, payment collection, or partner checkout pages, we may pass limited technical context such as a checkout session identifier to preserve booking continuity. We may also pass limited contact and reservation details to email and SMS providers used for booking confirmations, access codes, payment notices, and support messages. Once a third-party provider is handling identity review, payment collection, partner checkout, or communications delivery, that provider's terms, privacy practices, and operational rules also apply to that part of the transaction.

Service Availability

We may update, suspend, or change website features at any time to maintain reliability, security, and performance.

Disclaimer and Liability

To the extent permitted by law, this site is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability. The Space Place is not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to website use or third-party platform interruptions. Stay-specific waivers, risk disclosures, and allocation of responsibility for a direct booking are governed by the signed rental agreement and applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Oklahoma law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes will be the state or federal courts serving Tulsa County, Oklahoma, unless another venue is required by law.
